His background in computers goes all the way back to 1981, starting with a Texas Instruments computer and then a Commodore. Over the years, Steve worked through the evolution of personal computing from MS-DOS and early Windows versions through the many generations that followed.
He used computers in practical business settings early on, including older database software to manage customer information and service requests. That hands-on experience helped build a strong real-world foundation in upgrades, updates, networks, viruses, peripherals, programs, and software.
Steve also took classes in computer repair, networking, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Money, Microsoft PowerPoint, QuickBooks, website design, computer building, software training, and implementation. He started a computer company in Michigan, repaired and built new systems there, then moved to Naples in 2004 and bought a computer company locally.
